This week we received some exciting news that it looks like the purchasing of Kamberg Valley Hideaway is actually ahead of schedule! Looks like we will be moving on the 31st March! Very excited to think that this will soon be the view we wake up to each morning!

We have also received the plans of the main house and the cottage that we will be renovating, so the ideas are flowing! So much to do and think about, we can't wait to get started.

Our aim is have the cottage renovated by the 1st June so that we can accommodate 8 of the 160 anglers that head to Kamberg to fly fish at the well-known Kamberg Trout Fishing Festival. The festival is sure to be a great event and let's hope there are some huge trout caught!

As soon as we can we will be posting photos of the 2-bedroom unit that will be immediately available for guests and also the progress of the cottage.

Such a great adventure!

A couple of days after our stunning sunset morning we headed off from our self catering accommodation to enjoy some of the sights and wildlife of Kamberg Valley.

Bryan rigged up his fly fishing rod, reels and flies and headed out determined to catch some trout...

Whilst I headed off with my camera, determined to catch some great shots...

With the sun peeking through the clouds, the reeds around the fly fishing dams were full of birds, dragonflies and butterflies, so I spent a very pleasant hour or two immersed in taking photographs. I was happy to get a few shots that I thought I would share on this blog... 

Now I just can't wait to be moved into Kamberg Valley Hideaway and enjoying time with my camera around our own dam and in our photography hide. This is also where I can see many hours being spent during the photography courses we will be offering from our self catering accommodation in Kamberg!
