The vision of Kamberg Valley Hideaway
The view from our dream home! 2016 is seeing my partner, Bryan and I are embarking on a new and exciting adventure!
I apologise for the cliché here, but Kamberg Valley in the Southern Drakensberg really is a hidden gem. The landscape is of beautiful grasslands, dotted with sparkling dams and a backdrop of the dramatic Drakensberg Mountains.
The peace and quiet of the area is something you will not find in many places these days and really is a joy to be experienced.
When you wake in the mornings you hear the morning chorus of a multitude of different, colourful birds and at night when you switch off the lights, total darkness surrounds you, with the only light coming from the twinkling stars and the moon.
With all this natural beauty to bask in, it was an area that Bryan and I thought we wouldn't mind moving to.
Just before Christmas we saw a property for sale that looked stunning! We fell in love with it on the Internet so you can only imagine how we felt when we saw it surrounded by Kamberg Valley's beautiful landscape!
And now here we are, one month on and the sale is progressing. Soon our dream of owning a peace of paradise in the Drakensberg Mountains will be a reality and that's when the fun really begins…
